This tutorial is made in PSP X2 but also can be made in early versions

Materials.

1 Open a new image 650 X 450 pixels – transparent.

2 Fill the image with the color: #a0361b.

3 Layers – new rasterlayer.

4 Fill the image with the color: #bd8427.

5 Layers – load/save mask – load mask from disk with these settings:

6 Layers – merge – merge group.

7 Duplicate this layer in your layer-palette.

8 Duplicate the upper layer again in your layer-palette.(copy2 from group raster2).

9 Put the blend mode of this upper layer on: dissolve.

10 Activate the layer beneath (copy from group raster 2)

11 Layers – merge – merge down.

12 Effects – Edge effects – Enhance.

13 Put the blend mode of this layer on: darken and the opacity on 50%.

14 Layers – merge – merge all.

15 Layers – new rasterlayer.

16 Open your selection-tool and choose above for custom selection.

17 Fill in these settings:

18 Fill the selection with this color: #bd8427.

19 Selection – select none.

20 Effects – texture effects – Weave with these settings:

21 Effects – 3D Effects – drop shadow with these settings:

22 Put the opacity of this layer on 50%.

23 Duplicate this layer in your layer-palette.

24 Image – mirror.

25 Press on the letter D on your keyboard now you see a rectangle you can use to make the

Image on that layer bigger.

Pull the layer to the left (see example.)

Click on the moving-tool so the rectangle is gone.

26 Layers – merge – merge down.

27 Open the tube with the sun, copy and paste as new layer.

28 Open the tube with the woman, copy and paste as new layer.

29 Image – resize – 60% - bicubisch – all layers unchecked.

30 Move the tube a little to the left and a little down. (see example)

31 Adjust – Sharpness – sharpen.

32 Layers – merge – merge down.

33 Layers – arrange – move down.

34 Activate the upper layer in your palette.

35 Open the tube with the still life, copy and paste as new layer.

36 Move the tube down and to the right.

37 Image – add border – 2 pixels – color: white – symmetric.

38 Select the border with the magic wand – tolerance and feather: 0.

39 Fill the border with the color: #a0361b.

40 Selections – promote selection to layer.

41 Selections – select none.

42 Image – resize – 85% - bicubisch – all layers unchecked.

43 Effects – Edge effects – Enhance.

44 Duplicate this layer in your layer-palette.

45 Image – resize – 80% - bicubisch – all layers unchecked.

46 Layers – new raster layer.

47 Open your text-tool with these settings:

Put your background color on #a0361b.

Font: Felix Titling

Size: 72 pixels

Bold: checked.

Stroke width: 0

Create as: floating.

Type: relaxing

48 Selections – select none.

49 Image – free rotate – 90 degrease – to the left.

50 Move the text to the left side of your image.

51 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 21.

52 Effects – edge effects – Enhance

53 Layers – merge – merge all.

54 Put your water-mark on your creation.
