This tutorial is made in PSP X2 but also can be made in early versions of PSP.

I used the plugin:

VM Distortion (Imported in Filter Unlimited 2.0).

Put the plugin in the map:

C: programm files - Filters Unlimited - ICNET-Filters.db

Materials

1 Open a new image 650 X 450 pixels – transparent.

2 Put your foreground color on #2d3c21 and your background color on #56603c.

3 Make your foreground color a gradient with these settings:

Gradient – foreground – background

Angle: 45 degrease

Repeats: 3

Style: linear

Invert: unchecked

Fill your image with this gradient.

4 Layers – new raster layer.

5 Selections – load/save selections from disk

Search in the menu for the selection: BJ_4

6 Fill the selection with the color: #92a275.

7 Selections – select none.

8 Effects – plugins - Filters Unlimited - VM distortion – distortion by transparency

With these settings:

9 Effects – image effects – Seamless Tiling with these settings:

10 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with these settings:

11 Put the opacity of this layer on 50%.

11 Open the tube with the flower on the paper, copy and paste as new layer.

12 Image – resize – 75% - bicubic – all layers unchecked.

13 Put the blend mode on Luminance Legacy and the opacity on 50%.

14 Layers – new raster layer.

15 Selections – load/save selections from disk

Search in the menu for the selection: BJ_5

16 Fill the selection with the gradient from step 3.

17 Selections – select none.

18 Open the tube with the stitch, copy and paste as new layer.

19 Image – resize – 135% - bicubic – all layers unchecked.

20 Move the stitch down. (See example).

21 Put the opacity of this layer on 50%.

22 Layers – merge – merge down.

23 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 10.

24 Open the tube with the baby, copy and paste as new layer.

25 Image – mirror.

26 Move the tube a little down.

27 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 10.

28 Image – add border – 1 pixel – color: #2d3c21 – symmetric.

29 Image – add border – 1 pixel – color: #92a275 – symmetric.

30 Image – add border – 1 pixel – color: #2d3c21 – symmetric.

31 Image – resize – 75% - bicubic – all layers checked.

32 Image – add border – 30 pixel – color: #92a275 – symmetric.

33 Select the border with your magic wand – tolerance and feather: 0.

34 Layers – new raster layer.

35 Fill in the layer the selection with the color: #2d3c21.

36 Layers – load/save mask – load mask from disk with these settings:

37 Layers – merge – merge all.

38 Selections – invert.

39 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 10.

Change the color from green to black.

40 Repeats drop shadow but now with vertical and horizontal on -2.

41 Selections – select none.

42 Layers new raster layer.

43 Put your background color on #2d3c21 and close your foreground color.

44 Open your text-tool with these settings:

 Font - Cancellaresca ES

Size – 36 pixels.

Stroke width – 0

Create as – floating.

Type: Napping Time of a text of your own.

45 Move the text to his spot.

46 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 10.

Change the color from black to green.

47 Selections – select none.

48 Set now the font size on 28 pixels.

Type – Congratulations

49 Move the text down on the left side and give the same drop shadow.

50 Selections – select none.

Type now – With your new baby.

51 Move the text down on the right side and give the same drop shadow.

52 Selections – select none.

53 Layers – merge – merge all.

54 Put your water-mark on your creation and

 

Ready
